The training course in Prevention and Civic Relief is open to any adult, holder of the PSC for less than 3 years and who wishes to have a training activity, a professional, volunteer or voluntary member of a public body or an accredited civil safety association. It integrates the diploma of “Common Initial Pedagogy” and allows to teach PSC1 training.

At the end of the training, the participant must be able to organize a training sequence, to carry out, comment on and justify the actions and actions to be taken from a training unit PSC 1 (Prevention and Civic Relief level 1) ; implement appropriate instructional techniques to facilitate a training sequence; and conduct an evaluation of participants.

The training is divided into 16 skills, allowing to consider the main situations that participants may face.

Duration: 50 hours minimum

Throughout the training, trainees are subject to a formative evaluation through trainee situations. Daily monitoring is carried out by the teaching team. On the occasion of the different passages, each of the 16 competences must be sanctioned at least once as acquired by the teaching team. Competencies 1, 2.2, 2.3 ,4 must have been validated in two runs.

At the end of the training, the participants are assessed on file by a jury appointed by the Prefecture of Police, which decides on their suitability or incapacity.
